Contacts
● A faster, smarter way to create contacts
Creating a contact is now quicker and cleaner. Clicking + Contact — in the contact list, in Activities, or at the bottom of the mobile screen — opens the contact editor directly, with no need to search the contact list first.
As you fill in the new contact, Plannit quietly checks for anyone who already matches the email, phone number or name you are entering. A gentle notice appears if a possible match exists, and a clearer warning if an exact email or phone match is found — so you can open the existing record instead of creating a duplicate. You can always continue and create the contact anyway; nothing is blocked.
Invoices and payments
● Refund receipts and credit notes
A reworked refund flow introduces proper refund receipts and credit notes, giving you cleaner, more accurate accounting records when you issue a refund. This is being rolled out behind a feature flag, so it may not be active on every account yet.
● Attach the PDF directly to the email you send
When sending a quote or invoice, you can now choose to attach the document as a PDF to the email itself, instead of only sharing it in the client portal and channel message. A simple toggle (« Attach the document to the email ») controls it. This is only available with a Grow subscription.
● Update dates on several quotes or invoices at once
A new Update dates bulk action lets you change the quote date, billing date or due date across a whole selection of quotes or invoices in one step — no more opening each record one by one.
Quotes
● Add and remove items in bulk, with a cleaner interface
The bulk item editor has been redesigned and now lets you add new items and remove items across a selection, not just re-map and re-price existing ones. New items can be priced from the catalog, as a fixed amount, or as a percentage of the subtotal, and a one-step shortcut can apply the same percentage increase to every item.
AI
● Dictate your notes and messages
A new microphone button lets you dictate instead of type — in messages to customers, internal comments, and notes and terms fields on invoices, quotes and more. It transcribes as you speak where your browser supports it, and otherwise transcribes your recording when you stop. You can set the dictation language (Automatic, Français, English, Español), and the choice is remembered on your device. Requires the AI features to be enabled on your account.
