The Quantity Calculator helps convert dimensions and surface measurements into quantities directly inside your quotes and invoices.
This feature is especially useful for businesses working in:
roofing
siding
excavation
painting
landscaping
flooring
insulation
Calculations can be performed:
manually
using surface measurements
using volume calculations
directly from satellite maps
Accessing the Quantity Calculator
Inside a Quote:
Open the desired line item
Locate the Qty field

Add one or multiple measurement rows.
Example:
Step 3 — Define Coverage Per Item
The Surface per item field determines how much area a single unit covers.
Example:
Step 4 — Add Waste (Optional)
Waste can be added as:
percentage (%)
item units
Examples:
10%
5 units
Useful for:
cuts
installation waste
overlaps
complex layouts
Step 5 — Apply Quantity
The calculator automatically converts the surface into quantity.
Example:
1,440 ft² ÷ 32 ft² = 45 items
Click:
Apply Quantity
