Install web integration script with Wix

How to install Plannit's web integration scripts on a Wix platform

Overview

This guide explains how to install Plannit's web integration scripts on Wix, including the inline widget. Note: Custom Code is not available with the free version of Wix.

Prerequisites

  • Wix Premium subscription (or higher)

  • Your Plannit business ID

Installation Steps

Step 1: Add links to your website

First, add links to your website as described in step 2 of our Web site integration instructions.

Step 2: Navigate to Custom Code settings

  1. In your Wix site dashboard, go to Settings > Advanced > Custom Code

  2. Scroll down to the Body - End section

  3. Click Add Code

Step 3: Add and configure the widget code snippet

  1. In the Code snippet section, paste the Plannit Widget script. The div placeholder is not needed in Body - End:

Important: Replace YOUR_BUSINESS_ID with your actual business ID (e.g. B164fNk1N).

  1. Enter a name like "Plannit Widget" in the code name field

  2. Select Body - End as the placement

  3. Click Apply

Step 4: Add the inline placeholder to specific page sections

In addition to the Body - End script above, you must also add the inline placeholder to each page section where you want the widget to appear:

  1. Open the page where you want the inline widget

  2. Click Edit on the page

  3. Add an Embed Code element (from the Add menu)

  4. Paste the following code into the Embed Code box:

Important: Replace YOUR_BUSINESS_ID with your actual business ID.

Step 5: Add the Plannit Bot script (optional)

If you want to enable chat functionality, add the Plannit Bot script in the Body - End section, following the same process as Step 3.

Step 6: Customize styles (optional)

Any <style> customizations must be added directly in the same HTML section as the code.

Troubleshooting

If the widget doesn't appear on your page:

  • Make sure you're using Wix Premium or higher

  • Verify your business ID is correct in the script URL

  • Check that the script is placed in the Body - End section

  • Make sure there are no syntax errors in the code

  • Confirm the inline placeholder <div id="div-plannit-widget-sendmessage-inline"></div> is included in each page section where the widget should appear
